Hi,

I have just bought a Grande Punto 1.4 (pick it up Thursday), test drove it for a few miles and loved it, got £600 off, deal!

However I noticed there was the little Blue LED thing just by the gear stick, now I know that this little thing is the Blue&Me function. However from what I have been reading there is a USB socket as well to connect your MP3 player.

I didn't check for it however, without ringing the dealer to ask and sound a bit thick! My question is this, do you get both the Blue LED thing and the USB socket? Or can you get one without the other?

Any info would be grand, from what I have read on the Fiat site...

seems to me that they gave you the bluetooth hands free kit aswell as the blue & me....that is if you did get a usb thing in your glove box, otherwise it looks like they said its blue and me but they rely stuck you with bluetooth

Yep thats what I saw... is that Blue&Me or is that just the handsfree kit?

well unless you have the stering wheel controls for the phone and the windows button as well as the usb in the glove box then you only got the hands free

I see, didn't check, there where steering wheel controls...... will have to check.

If I don't have it which isn't a massive downer as I didn't know it had it anyway, whats the easiest way to connect my iPod..... WITHOUT using an FM transmitter, I want to use a lead connected to my stereo!!

Bad luck man! did the dealer say it deff had blue and me? or did ya assume it was? any way... wat ipod you got? if its nano/ vidio then you an get a lead from fiat that plugs into the back of your head unit, or evrey so oftten there is this guy on ebay who sels it for like half price! thats were i got it form

No, I wasn't sold it with Blue&Me, advert didn't mention it at all, just saw the Blue LED and assumed (Wrongly!!!)

It would have been useful, however from what I have been reading it does have a bit of an issue with iPods!!

i no, it took me about a month to look for 1 and finaly get 1! but if you have a ebay account add theys guys to your favrot sellers and evrey so often they sell the ipod connection kit http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/researchgarage

I found there number and rang them any way http://www.researchgarage.co.uk/ i would say you could always ring (ask for the fiat parts dipartment and say that you looked at the product on ebay) who no's they might be able to give you a half price 1 like they do on ebay??

hmmm looks the same, just mesige them asking if it will fit the gande punto but usuly it only fits the older punto models thats y i had so much troble finding mine lol

id just ring fiat

if u have the blue led you dont have blue&me u just have bluetooth. im assuing its an active your gettin. just get the ipod kit for it (assuming you have an ipod)
