Good guide, looks a little scary for me though. Ill attempt the fronts first!

Don't suppose you have a photo of the subwoofer connection. Wondering if i can run my own wiring down the car to use one of the standard subwoofers.

Helpful guide Captain :worship: I'm glad you've finally got rid of your offensive rear speakers :D

Also just to add@-

When I was in the depths of my Grande I found the power socket loom hidden away behind the panel lol.

A quick pop down to the dealers, £9 later and I have fitted a rear power socket toooooo lol.

Here is said loom.

Finally here is the beastie fitted. Went for the stillo socket as its illuminated! Had to file the existing hole down a mm or so but other than that, very easy to fit!

Did these make a big improvement (along with the fronts). I am pretty certain im going to change the fronts in mine when its back from being repaired. Just want to make sure its not a waste of time and money!

Yes matey. Sound has a much better range to the sound now.

I went for co-axial speakers as I prefer them.

Many would opt for component however Im not a bass head so prefer a crisper sound. Also if I hear a snare I like it to come from the same source as the drum itself!

Personal choice at the end of the day.

I would say go for it:devil:

Thats it then, decision made. I'm not sure about installing components to be honest. Dont know where the original cross over is for a start. Seen some infinity speakers co-ax on ebay for £25 new in box, think i'll end up getting them.

Cheers for the info.
