Hello,

Is it just me or does anyone have a slight problem with 'scuffing' marks where teh seatbelt hits the door on the 3-door model?

When I take off my seat belt, it tends to bounce back hitting off the plastic inside of the door, and leaves a white mark.

Obviously, one solution is to be more gentle when taking off seatbelt - but I used to have a 5 door and it was no problem. Other than that, I thought of putting a bit of masking/plumbers tape on the edge of the seatbelt 'buckle'...

Just me, yeh? :D

No mate definately not just you. I have had this problem on all 3 door cars, especially the GP. Im guessing its got something to do with the size of the doors. I dont think there really is an answer other than just being careful like you say because you cant cover the metal itself so that will always be on show.

Yeah that is good stuff, very popular in the US at the minute. The only thing is its where do you stop with it to not make it look stupid. Certainly worth a look though and it shouldnt be expensive.
