| Re: Whats new with the '07 Spec? If we really want to get nerdy, there's this- The new versions of the Grande Punto 07 Range (distinguished by the serial number 1) about to be launched very shortly, differ from series 0 through the following variants introduced to the interior trim levels. The main variants divided by the various trim levels are listed below: Trim levels Standard/Active - new seat fabric colours (red drop type) - unique grey colour (dark grey) for the centre dashboard band - new control panel aesthetics - new colour for radio and climate control trim Dynamic - new (inox type) fabrics in two new colours (brown and navy blue) - two new colours for centre dashboard band - new control panel aesthetics - new colour for radio and climate control trim Emotion - new (inox type) fabrics in two new colours (black and navy blue) - two new colours for centre dashboard band with "brushed" effect - new control panel aesthetics - new colour for radio and climate control trim - soft touch effect dashboard paint - chrome buttons for ventilation vents, crome button for handbrake lever, chrome door opening levers, soft touch paint door handles Sport - chrome gear lever ring, chrome button for handbrake lever We also wish to remind you that the Standard, Active, Dynamic and Emotio trim levels are part of the Comfort Life group whilst the typically sporty engines and Sport trim levels are part of the Sport Life group. The 07 Range will fit into the Sport Life group (alongside the 3 door Speed customized versions) with the 5 door Speed customized versions Similarly to the 3 door versions, the Speed versions, starting from the Dynamic trim level, will contain features that emphasize the sporty nature of the Grande Punto, in other words: - spoiler - miniskirt - fog lights - 15" alloy wheels Painting Standard/Active Dynamic Emotion Sport The Grande Punto 07 Range will also be available in three new exterior colours: - Bright Aviator Blue 133 - Precious Grey 174 - Bad Mood Grey 634 As a result the following colours will no longer be available for the Grande Punto 07 Range: Schietto Green 380, Capriccioso Orange 598, Exotic Sand 783. Hazard lights Standard/Active Dynamic Emotion Sport We also with to point out that when the hazard warning lights switch (A - Fig. 1) is activated (on the 1st series) only the two (arrow shaped) warning lights in the instrument panel come on irrespective of the position of the ignition key. The Owner''s Handbook will be updated accordingly. On the previous version (0 series) when the switch (A- Fig. 1) was turned on the switch light up intermittently and the two (arrow shaped) warning lights in the instrument panel lit up simultaneously irrespective of the position of the ignition key.

| Re: Whats new with the '07 Spec? I read somewhere that NEXT year it gets a whole new dashboard. Tweaks for now, all new in 2008. Soft touch plastics and different architecture I guess? The quality of the Corsa has wrongfooted Fiat on this one. I doubt they'll do much to the exterior. It is already perfect - but look what they did to the Punto - the Mark 1 was the classic Oh..IMHO

| Black GP Sporting | Re: Whats new with the '07 Spec? like you say mate, the interior will probably get a bit of an update, and improved no end... the exterior is pretty nice as it is, they might darken the headlights and change the grille and maybe add the new style fiat badges. could change the wheel designs too... lets see if it works or not!!

| Re: Whats new with the '07 Spec? In that new ad for the GP, with the red, white and green cars, based on the Italian Job, the GPs have the new red badges. The ad is being readied for the T-Jetted model, so I guess that as soon as the Bravo (nuovo) is launched all the other Fiat models will be rebadged and we'll see the T-Jet in the GP. Interesting. It has to happen. Perhaps every model badge will have a personalised shape? Expensive that though - a little

| Black GP Sporting | Re: Whats new with the '07 Spec? maybe expensive, but its things like that that make a good manufacturer imo. the green looks great, shame its not available to us here in the UK. the white looks brill!

| Re: Whats new with the '07 Spec? Yes, I like the white too. Fiats have nearly always worked well in white. Something to do with the clean simply radiused or planar surfaces I think. The green is a good clean, fresh colour too. I saw an olive GP the other day, dirty and sitting in a fog. Not too great I didn't think. White is excellent though, and also on the Panda and new 500. I don't think it'll work so well on the Bravo? Let's see...
