Excess radiator temp warning

well this is the 2nd time from a cold start up the car has bleep at me with *excess radiator temp* so ive turned it off and started again with everything fine? anyone else had this before? not sure if to take it to fiat or not as on 2nd restart all seems fine... never had a problem with the car running temp before or overheating.. should also mention that each time when its happened the car didnt start straight away on the first turn of the key, although i took it back to the garage for this and they replaced the lambda/o2 sensor thingy... not sure if its related!

any help is appreciated, am abit clueless on this one
