| Mo Money, Mo bass  | When I put Climate control on there is an awful noise When I put the climate control on you can hear the fan start up, getting louder and louder. This noise doesn't go until you turn it off, but when you turn it off it makes an even worse noise!  Does anyone know what this could be? Cheers

 | Re: When I put Climate control on there is an awful noise I noticied after about 3 weeks of taking delivery of mine, when I switch on the AC (not climate in mine) there is a noise which wasn't there before. Not a bad noise in my case, just noisier than when I first got the car - I assume it is the compressor. I'm monitoring it to see how it goes. If you are really concerned, get it seen to under warranty. Chances are it is the compressor - it's really the only thing it could be I would have thought.

| Re: When I put Climate control on there is an awful noise I had leaves stuck in my vents. Fiat garage cleaned them out, then it was back to normal.

| Re: When I put Climate control on there is an awful noise VW climate controls are pretty noisy. The fan goes into overdrive under certain conditions. Are you sure that the noises you hear are abnormal?
