Re: Ipod problems

Not sure if it'll fix it but worth a try: reset the iPod by pressing and holding the middle button and Menu.

Re: Ipod problems

Not sure if this helps but my IPOD does this about once a month, I leave the IPOD conected and on the steering wheel control select the media player using the phone button on the bottom right and it comes up on the dash saying please wait then after about 20 mins all working again!!!

I think thats what i need tbh i've had problems before with the buttons on the steering wheel to do with the ipod and they said i may end up needing a new headunit if it carrys on playing up so i think this maybe the case now.

Re: Ipod problems

if i am honest with you guys .... mines never worked b4 either.... well it has -

i can play all my pod casts from my ipod, however it just does NOT pick up any songs at all... iv tryed and tryed and tryed but no luck...

i was woundering has anyone else used the conection with any OTHER mp3/4 player?

the only conclusion i could come to - myself was that it was a mp3 conection made by windows and as for an ipod well thats made by apple..... (i know it might sound stupid, and im sure theres a reason descovered by you lovly people but i havnt researched the reason yet)

Cheers

Re: Ipod problems

I have connected my ipod (classic 160gb) to my gps and it works faultlessly. Are you using a Mac or PC to sync the songs to your devive. Blue&Me only works with windows formatted pods

Perhaps its the Sync'ing? Try doing it manually (it also means you can add songs from a friends PC)
