LED lights

Hi,...

I was planning to change the smallest lights at the front lights (don't know the english word for them), in LED (white/blue) lights but when i change them the computer says that the lights are broken. (they aren't giving any light either) when i fit one in to the socket it does works and with two they don't!!!

the LED lights are w5w. like the original lights.
anyone who knows the answer to this prob?

Re: LED lights

LED's need much less power, so the computer thinks the bulb has blown.

Re: LED lights

Theres other bulbs on the market that are not LEDs but give the same desired effect.

Re: LED lights

Side lights
You need resistors for LED lights, this is to trick the computer into thinking you have normal bulbs! try these http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/home.php?cat=656

Re: LED lights

you put them in the bulb holder place, and push the bulb in to hold them in place. so you dont need to cut in to any wires at all
