lol

A backbox on it's own won't make much performance difference on a 1.2 GP. just the sound will change. Only a full system will give noticeable performance. Just make sure you don't buy something like a universal fit which will decrease the performance.

Not Always, With universal you tend to lose low end presure ( like between 1 - 2 RPM) but you will gain Top End pressure because the Fumes can Escape quicker.

You lose Low end pressure because there is to much build up in a bigger back box simply becuase there's more room in the actuall thing itself.

Correct it makes torque more useable at higher revs, but if the diameter is too big the torque can only be used at rpm above the whole rev range. Thus making it completely unuseable.

Re: Performance Back Box

i lernt this from when i put one on My Sei, but in that high rev's was more suited anyway's lil city car which you have to REV the Cocklles out off for it to move.

Wouldnt even bother on your car m8. i personaly would get a new manifold and replacment CAT but i'd leave the back as it is.

In My Punto At the Mo im just Putting a K&N fillter on.
