| Rear brake problem in rain! This has been bugging me for a while now, basically when it rains and my handbrake is on for more that 8hrs, the drivers side wheel locks up once I have realesed the handbrake. The passenger side does not do it, about 2 weeks ago the car was stood from Friday 9pm till Monday 1pm, and it hammered it down all weekend, this made it really bad and I ended up "dragging" the rear end of my car off the drive to try and free it up. The only way I can free it up is by rocking the car back and forward using the engine, and it makes a right clunk when it does free up. Anyone else had this problem??

| Forum Moderator | Re: Rear brake problem in rain! my old cavalier used to do that, had to park it face down hill & give it full revs to free off drums every morning ![]() take it to dealer for checking...some models within a given chassis range get brake shoes renewed, but remember not all do.
