New guide added - Fitting a Blaupunkt Active Sub

I have just produced a guide to fitting the under seat Bluapunkt Active Sub. Hope it helps some people and feel free to ask any questions as I don't think i've written the guide to clearly!!!! If you need anything clarifying I will try too!!!

It can be found at http://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punt...ml#post1224857

Cheers

Alex

Nice one. Do those blue clips not need the original wires cutting then? Never seen those before. Shame power can't be taken from the back of the head unit, thats what i would have done .

blue clips are called 'scotch locks'...ok to use inside car but not outside or engine pay as no protection from water corrosion.

No problem. The same guide can be used for other amps. Will just require a remote wire putting in I would imagine.

The blue clips just clip round the wires and do not need any wires cutting which is why I used them.

It's not recomended to take the power from the back of the headunit. It is a lot safer to add one directly from the battery with an inline fuse.
