Checking for Subwoofer

Hope to be picking up my new GP shortly. Could someone tell me if there is an easy way to tell if the car has had the 150W subwoofer installed?

Re: Checking for Subwoofer

I am guessing but would it be a big box in the boot or do the Dealers do it differently?

It will be on the right hand side (looking from the back) of the boot just under the plastic trimming. You can't miss it!!

It is slapped into the gap on the drivers side in the boot, it is side mounted and says Fiat Hi-Fi System on it. HTH

Re: Checking for Subwoofer

Cool, thanks to all who responded. If it's in the boot that's easy enough to check - as long as it doesn't take up as much space as the disc-changer does in the boot of a Mini Cooper...

Here's a couple of pictures for reference. The sun was playing silly buggers with my camera hence the yellowy weirdness on the first pic!

Re: Checking for Subwoofer

If you don't have the subwoofer can the fiat one be added after? i.e is the wiring in place.
Does the sound option only include a subwoofer or is it upgraded speakers as well?

Re: Checking for Subwoofer

I originally thought that all the wiring would be there but apparently its not and therefore cant be fitted after production. If im honest i wouldnt want it anyway after having mine. Im in the middle of getting it changed to a good aftermarket job, the only downfall is it will take up a lot more room, something the factory one is good for.
