(T) Does anybody have a fault free gp?

Has anyone owned a gp for more than six months with out any problems?
Not including the recalls.
I think this could be interesting
The best fiat i had was a diesel punto 1995 done just under 100,000 only thing to go wrong was the alternator.
But my gp has been a lemon.

What has gone wrong with it? (thought i'd ask before Kev does )

brand new models of any make seem to have problems for a few years till they all ironed out

Most only post when there is a problem.

It never got fixed they said they cant book it in for repair until they get parts, been over 3 weeks not heard anything
I know i should chase them up but iam now sick of all the hassle.

Also fiat uk opened up a case file and iam still to hear anything back from them

couldn't be bothered searching back through 'pcman's posts last night as the beer monster was visiting me

faults with my gp are-
1,
steering wheel knocks when moving left to right(had two new racks fitted by amc chelmsford which then destroyed front tyres because they didnt track in wheel still knocks.

vibration thru car at 70 mph +(tracking has been done)

lost all dials and indicators (next day working fine)

rattle from front when going over bumbs brakeing or going down car park slopes

knocking coming from passenger door and rear of car

brakes squeal(not to worried about this)


I have had two puntos previous to the gp one was fault free for first 3 years the other had minor niggles which were sorted by southend fiat straight away no hassle.
But i have had a complete nightmare with amc chelmsford and the way i have been treated its worth losing £5000 to get out of this.
Car is coming up for a year old waranty seems to be worthless and i have lost all faith in getting it fixed.
And iam scared that more problems will arise.
I was a fiat fan and i still love the gp style and was even thinking of getting a new one but i dont think i can risk it.
The reason for post was to see if there are any fault free gps.

Take your car to another dealer.
Why do people keep going back to the same crap dealerships when there are so many good Fiat dealers??
