| Re: 1st service on GP Sporting multijet Service intervals are 18,000 miles, or 12 months- whatever comes first. However, does yours have a diesel particulate filter (DPF)? If so the oil won't need changing until the system decides it's needed or every 2 years. Before the service the garage can plug-in the Examiner and read off how many miles are left until the oil change is due, if it looks like it'll be ok until your next service they should confirm with you if you wish it to be changed or not (some people prefer to get it done early). Without the oil change the cost drops significantly.
