iPod and Blue&Me

I know some people will get annoyed because they'll say 'theres already been loads written about this', but I've been looking for a few hours now, and I can't find anything thats helped. Any help would be gratefully received!

I picked up my GP 1.4 8V with Blue&Me, and I've got an 80gb Video iPod (synced with a mac), and it just won't connect with Blue&Me. I've plugged the iPod in to the USB slot and it tells me "Do Not Disconnect" which usually means its connecting to something. However the Blue&Me system tells me there is No Media Found.

I do have some songs which are AAC, but the majority are MP3, plus it has a M3U playlist file that it should find. Its driving me insane. Please help?

Re: iPod and Blue&Me

the blue and me system is windows based, so it may be that due to it being sync with a mac that it doesn't work?? just a stab in the dark.

Hi
I`ve just discovered how to use my 30gb Ipod after the Bluetooth saying No Media Found message. However I do have a Windows PC so it might be the case that as you are using a Mac Bluetooth will not recognise the files - try loading some music onto Itunes via a windows PC and see what happens - remember to select MP3 first or do like I did convert it all by selecting the"Convert Selection To MP3" tab. Good luck - Ian

Re: iPod and Blue&Me

If the files on the ipod are AAC the standard for the ipod the blue and me player is unable to read them (there is a list of wot files it can read in the manual) but put them all to mp3 and it shud be fine
