Unhappy Wing Mirror Cover

Got back to my car after a looong day at work only to find that some git has nicked the black plastic covering for the wing mirror on the passengers side so now you can see the wiring for the electric mirror. I've tapped it up with gaffer tape for now just incase it rains but obviously need to get a replacement. Does anyone here know if you can buy it from the dealer on its own or any other method of obtaining one.

The pictures show the drivers side (for example only) as I only thought of taking a picture after I had put loads of tape on it!!

Cheers

Bish

Re: Wing Mirror Cover

Seeing as some of you have said that they are a dodgy fit, do you think it might of just fallen off? Shall I tell the dealer that it just flew off when I was driving along and get them to get me a new one under warranty?

Re: Wing Mirror Cover

Theres quite a few GPs missing that part of the mirrors at my dealer.
Techs end up havin to take off one and glue on to another.

Re: Wing Mirror Cover

Ours has been replaced by dealer FOC now we need to go back in again as water coming into shell of boot due to rear screen not being sealed--this car has spent more time in the garage than on the road ---time to send a letter rejecting the car I think!!

Re: Wing Mirror Cover

My driver's side wingmirror cover was loose and because of the gap it had to the mirror body it produced an annoying aerodynamic noise above certain speeds.
Some super glue took care of this problem!
