(T) Reply to captian chaos re bootlid

This problem with water in bootlid is known fault although i have letter from dealer and fiat uk saying this is normal characteristic with this vehicle what a load of b-----ks.I battled on and finally bootlid was changed and this cured problem the two skins were not sealed and water leaked in from rear screen.
This has been one of many faults with my vehicle and despite many visits to dealership i finally wrote to ceo of fiat uk as build quality and repairs dealer had completed were substandard,my vehicle was inspected by fiat inspector and goes in on monday for one week for more repairs.
This will make 33days in workshop in 9 months of ownership and i have been asked to feedback to ceo of fiat uk if i am satisfied with repairs carried out i have to say what a shame a very smart car has been spoilt by poor build quality with no quality control and poor dealers who are not intrested in their customers and once vehicle sold it seems that aftercare is indeed an afterthought and can be a battle to get repairs carried out to a satisfactory standard
