GP Radio Line Input

Hi!

Hopefully i'm going to be in May a fresh GP owner. I have a question to owners who have MP3 CD player installed in their GP. I'm getting one and i was thinking about buying a PDA GPS sat nav system. Usually PDA can play also MP3 formats and PDA has headphones jack. Is there normal way to get voice from PDA headphones jack to car MP3 CD Player. If GP had cassette player, then it's propably not a problem (cassette adapter from local LIDL ), but it has CD player. I think there is no Line IN jack on the front of GP Radio. Wich is the best way to get audo from PDA headphones jack to GP's CD MP3 player-radio?

Sorry about bad english
Best Regards
Margus

Angry Re: GP Radio Line Input

Hello guys,

I'm very concerned about AUX-In as well.

The thing is that when I was going to buy my GP I checked everyting about the car.
In the showroom there was a model with MP3 music which had AUX-In selectable from source list. And I was happy about that.
It looked like: http://www.autoreview.ru/archive/200...to/Punto15.jpg

But when I got my car, I found that it's equipped with another music which doesn't have AUX-In in the source list. Nevertheless it can play MP3.
It looks like this: http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/1778/immag0160cj.jpg

I have contacted Blaupunkt guys and they told me that if AUX-In is not accessible from main menu (SRC button list) then it is not possible to make it work without special interfaces (as I guess, like IceLink). This is very frustrating, because I'd like to listen music stored on my cellular phone. If my car's HU has AUX-In the cable will cost me $10, otherwise (in my case) I will have to buy Blaupunkt Bluetooth Interface for $160.

Can someone explain me why the hell had this happend?
And what else is missing in my head unit? ...T?
