Post indicator bulb fitting...

i have bought the indicator bulbs as minnt has, and i am trying to fit them but the manual seems pretty rubbish on this. do i have to do it from by the wheel, or under the bonnet? i have tried but any help would be greatly received!

Re: indicator bulb fitting...

It's from inside the wheel arch. Just turn a big plastic screw and a panel in the wheel arch opens. Then take the bulb out and fit the new one, is a quick and easy change.

I've got the silver look bulbs if anyone wants to see a picture of them.

Re: indicator bulb fitting...

just make sure that you get both pieces that hold the panel in the arch. the inside bit only drops into the under tray, but its just a pain in the arse to get it out.

its a cheap mod with a big effect on looks.

Re: indicator bulb fitting...

silver ones or blue mate? just search ebay for silver indicators. as long as they're offset pins, py21w then you will be fine. i have an old set of opposite pin silver ones, so i might fit them in today and see what they look like. you wont get as much effect with the rears as they have an orange dome... although this could be smashed off and removed... if you're daring enough to do so! hth
