(T) The saga continues with faulty grande sport

The vehicle has been examined by fiat tech after writing to ceo of fiat uk and all eleven faults will be repaired this was three weeks ago still awaiting call from dealer who said he will need car for one week to sort all problems.
Had asked for replacement vehicle but this has still been refused despite this being visit sixteen and a toatal of 30days in for various repairs this must be a record unless anybody else can top this please advise.There has been a hint from fiat that they will offer goodwill jesture for my inconvieniance but what that will be i dont know just want a fault free car at the present time.

sounds like you're going through the mill a bit matey... if the car would be in for a week, then i would definantly want a courtesy car or a hire car of some description, at least something to get you from a to b... the goodwill jesture sounds like a nice touch mate, but like you said, you just want a fault free car! keep us posted with any developments, good luck with getting te car fixed matey! fingers crossed for you!

19 on my new car......this is after my original one was replaced!

Finally got my vents, but have been told that they dont know why my car is showing a tape deck and they may have to replace my dashboard!!! I cant remember all my faults.....im sure you find them if you look for them on here (under my posts) but to name a few,

1. Door lock faulty
2. Electric window fault
3. Electric window switch passenger side loose
4. Clutch judder
5. Display showing Tape Deck A
6. Millage flashing
7. Seat rail replacement
8. Windscreen blower trim warped
9. Footwell blower trim hanging off
10. Glove box miss aligned
11. White paint on paintwork on bonnet and underside of bonnet
12. Squealing brakes
13. Poor reception on radio
14. Hard to start in the morning
15. Unknown noise
16. Centre console fan outlet broken from day 1
17. Noisy fan
18. Clonking noise when turning steering wheel
19. Hard to engage reverse, crunches

2 cars..... both faulty.....call me lucky!

80% of my faults are still there as they either cannot fix them because they dont know how, or waiting on parts (took from sept 7th 06 to last wednesday to get the centre vents)

I asked for all the paperwork (repairs) last tuesday and surprise surprise i still havent got it.

Im sure my car has been in over 20 times since i bought it in september. so i WIN LOL

Just phoned them and they tell me that their waiting on a dash cluster..... didnt even tell me that they had it on order and that id have to take ANOTHER day off work, and drive 30 mile round trip....AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Can you describe the juddering?

My theory is the heat trapped during the day causes the demister to buckle up and displace itself. Reason I say this is because mine is kept indoors all the time, and once I left the car at the dealers for a week, which I'm sure was kept outdoors, then I noticed it had popped out.

when im in first gear and sat in traffic, if i take my foot off the accelerator my car bunny hops down the road. If im doing 30mph in 4th gear my car jerks forwards ands backwards, feels really juddery.

Cant pull away anything lower than 2000rpm otherwise my car just hops about like a cat on acid. Its just like a judder really, propper anoying me though because my dealership told me yes they found the fault and the clutch needed replacing, but they had to get it authorised by fiat uk, who when came down told me there was nothing wrong with it....crazy fools

Hey man that wasn't a stupid question - I just wanted to see if our problems are the same, and it doesn't seem to be as my juddering is only from first to second.

For you does it go away after a while or is it constantly juddering?
