Re: Options After Delivery

Cruise Control and Climate control are no go you would need an after market option. But Sub, Rain Sensor, and Tyre Sensors are possible to fit I think.

Re: Options After Delivery

All these systems work via CAN system, even if you could obtain any aftermarket system for any of these you run the risk of invalidating your warranty if problems occur if fault(s) are associated with these/work done.

I don't know about the other two but you can't get the sub retro fitted. When i was at the dealer and got a courtesy car which had parking sensors i enquired about them and you can get them retro fitted cheaper than from the factory.

Climate and cruise are out i'm afraid.

I know this becuase when i was looking for my car i wanted climate and the sub but could only find standard cars and asked about adding the options on. Luckily i found one with options after a little search.

Re: Options After Delivery

the mk2 Punto had wiring already there for a factory sub ready to be fitted and plugged in.

Not sure about the GP wether it's a case of buying just the sub and plugging it in or buying all the wiring etc.

Im pretty sure it there but at least they have hid it this time . The rain sensor plugs in the nipple on the dash I think pull the cap off and you will see a little connector socket.

Re: Options After Delivery

Correct Chris but its CAN operated through the body computer which means it would need to be configured or a new body computer with higher spec.

Re: Options After Delivery

Perhaps your right Chris, maybe body computer will recognise sensor or just simple configuration will surfice but I very much suspect different body computer for higher trim level.

Re: Options After Delivery

There are decent aftermarket cruise control setups on the market now which are compatible with the GP.
