Alloys on 1.4 16v dynamic sport peeling

anyone had there alloy wheels start peeling from the inside edge of the spokes,
i at first thought it was ingrained brake dust but the actual coating is pitted and peeling.

its only a year old on 28th june . was in fiat service bay for 3 of those months.
only touching 14k miles now.

im wondering if fiat will change them if i make a little fuss.
have a small list of problems to send when picked up for its first year service monday.

apart from the a few things falling off here and there and brake wear indicator wires burnt off ( always happens on fiats) alls been fine since engine rebuild from failure of cam belt at 9k miles and that dam fuel pressure valve that caused loss of power and several sends backs until it was found to be the demon part.
its seems to have gone from 40mpg to 30 mpg since the rebuild as well.
its had time to rebed it self. will mention this as well.
and it started sounding like a desiel . Tapping like mad this week.
oil level is ok so will mention that too although its can be heard from a mile away.
its not quite been the car it was after its engine rebuild .
also i never noticed back when it was returned in january that it had major scratches all round the bonnet .i rang them after 2 days when i noticed and was told i should have rang them straight away. this has been a while now but it still annoys me. especially as i have always praised the fiat dealership i use.
Its also a pity the grande did not get the 5 year free warrenty that was handed out with bravas recently.
anyway its still kind of been good car as it drives so well.

still them alloys should not peeling.

I have a friend whos got a GP too (not on here) and he siad he has had a loss of power too, could be his fuel pressure valve? How much power did you lose? He says its not a lot, but noticable maybe 10-20%.

And get those alloys to the dealer, they should fix em.

Smile Re: Alloys on 1.4 16v dynamic sport peeling

it was about 20 to 30 %.
it just had no raw power that it should have had.
The garage thought it was ok because it took off like a base model when i asked them to test a car the same as mine then test drive mine again they realised it was not right.( i saw someone else do the same in a thread )
i was just told it was fuel pressure valve.
i never got a invoice for it they just said it was part of the rebuild problem.
although if i had not pushed they wanted me to accept it as fixed.
they are quite a good main dealer as dealships go.
But telling me it was not as fast as abase model i had had while they fixed mine was because my engine was tight. of all the excuses that a 16v should be slower than the base model they lent me. of course i was having non of it ...
yes i will dropping by to get em to look at my alloys.
also they frixed the brake sensor wire in the service and told me the tyres are 70% wore and need changing.
think i get few more % out of them when they cost 106 quid each and they have only done 14 k . its times to put the front on the back they last another 14 k. as you know the rears never wear much.
besides the wear indicators are ok on the front at the present time.

hope your friend get his power loss sorted they really are great cars to drive when all is going right. but most fiats are.....
