£225 for 10-12BHP on a 1.2

Well is it worth it?

This is the best price I've had from Angel Tuning, they guy has given me 25% discount because I'm a member on a N. Ireland Car Site forum.

This includes an induction kit and a remap. It will be rolling roaded before and after and there is a full moneyback promise within 14 days if everything isn't as expected.

Im surprised you are even asking about angel tuning on here. You are just gonna get told to go to red dot but obviously that is a bit far for you. Its up to you though. Do it if you want to, if its not what you expect it to be then i presume you can get your money back but you will have to read the T&C's and small print obviously

Yeah, I know that's why I don't want any comments saying 'Goto Red-dot' get a 'GSR' by the time I travel over there I'll be so much out of pocket.

These guys have a good reputation over here and I know many people who have had their cars done by them.

Do it then. If they are offering a RR before the map and after the map then there shouldnt be a problem because you will be able to see standard power and then the power after the map and induction

It is starting to look Angel maps are maybe red dot maps anyway. Just not tweeked on a rr. Even Red Dot tweeked version I'd be surprised at a 10-12 bhp gain.

Unless thats not the peak gain it could be a gain lower in the rev range, Which would still be good as it will improve the drivability of your car.

i would look into induction kit design before thinking that the one you are getting is worth the money.
you maybe better off with just a replacement pannel filter

How much difference will 10-12hp make though?

Its £19-£22 per BHP.

You have also to consider if you travel to the mainland and get it done and it all goes tits up ..the cost coming back over again will leave you further out of pocket..some thing else for you to consider I think.

With induction and re-map I will give you for every bhp gained peak to peak£100 over 9bhp if you can show a before and after graph from the same rr on the same day.

For every 1 BHP over 9 BHP with respect to the gain from the remap and the induction kit. Oldschool will give Stripes £100.

So an extra 50bhp will be £4,100

Re: £225 for 10-12BHP on a 1.2

im not going to say go to red dot! but the best induction kit is going to be the GSR, why dont you get it posted out and fitted it yourself before the map? You'll see more gains than a k&n and even a bmc cda which are so expensive for what they are, much better than k&n though

i dont think you can go to wrong if there going to get a before and after RR, also if you get the GSR on before you can see how much that is getting you alone!

Good luck with it mate
