I would enquire as to how much extra they will charge it all depends on the insurance company Moreth>n only wanted to know if i had any performance mods on (speed, handling or performance increase) where as Admiral wanted to know about any cosmetic changes as well...

Don't forget its Illegal to tint the windscreen and the 2 front side windows carries the risk of 3 points and a fine..

And yes you made the right choice the Dynamic should hold its value better when you come to sell it

you just gotta love that black with chrome :P

One last question.
Did i make the right choice?
It was either have a black or darkblue 1.2 active without the toys, or a light blue 1.2 dynamic with all the toys on it.

Im not sure that on the outside that colour was such a good idea, but on the inside the colour makes sence with all the panels and stuff.

I dont know, what would you have done in my possition?
Well those rims (15") you can get here for £225 (without tyres). Shows how much you could save if you wanted.

And about the last Q, well lol I went for crossover black

Re: My Punto Plans

silver stripes? or maybe black to go with alloys.

and mate if in doubt ring your insureance and declare it, it may not increase premium but always declare anything you do to change your car from standard.

Re: My Punto Plans

Paint your brake callipers makes such a different, gives it that sporty feel. Def no on the bodykit. Tints would look cool but cos it is a light colour I would go for light tints, dark will look odd. I got the same interior- its well nice and I've installed blue LED neons in the footwell which really set it off. There is a guide in the GP section.

Re: My Punto Plans

Forget the body kit, would probably barely move with all that weight. Spend your money on lowering, induction kit and some nice alloys. Then will be an all round better drive! I'm sure you will enjoy your GP experience!

Re: My Punto Plans

I read the first post..

And all I can say is. I hoped these cars would stay out of budget for chav's for just a while longer - but oh well!

Re: My Punto Plans

As above. You say you love the design of the car but then you want to put some chavvy corsa esque bodykit on it that will ruin the look of the car.

You keep asking if you made the right choice, how are we supposed to tell you yes or no? Its all down to personal preference at the end of the day. But because you keep asking and to me looks like you are doubting it then i would say you have made the wrong choice on colour because if you were happy with it then you wouldnt give a **** what anyone else thought.

Re: My Punto Plans

Im not going to put the bodykit on, ive realised that.
im just going to add some nice alloys, im just not sure i made the right choice, as the colour of the car looks a little... plain, would of loved a black one but when i saw a dynamic at 4k how could i resist! even if it was in that colour. 1 pervious lady owner, and full service history, it had all the toys, blue&me, parking sensors, powerassisted steering and so on... allot nicer then the actives i was looking at which where more expensive.

but it was just the wrong colour :\

By the way, im not a chav, i just wanted your opinions... sorry.

Re: My Punto Plans

Nowt wrong with the colour, but as the other guys say, it's your money, and your perference that counts, so if you're not sure about the colour, then once you buy it, you're stuck with it till you sell it!! for a guy getting his first car, i think its perfect for you!! as for modding, i would hold off for a year or two till you decide weither you're keeping it or trading it in for something better!! however, if you can't wait, then go for lowering, 17" alloys, and a set of sporting sideskirts(try scrappies??) and prehaps an induction kit, and if the colour is still bugging you, stick a stripe on!! lol

Re: My Punto Plans

Yeah i supose, it just seems a bit of a plain colour, i am thrilled with the car, i cant wait till it gets here, i dont think i will lower it as it sounds like a big expensive job, i definatly will put 17" on though, perhaps some sporting sideskirts will look nice ill keep my eyes peeled.
I know i will bang my head against the wall for asking this but what is an induction kit? and i dont think any stripes would go with that colour :\
