Re: How do you remove the front lower grille?

Me and chrisUK removed his front bumper on his old Gpunto to respray it. we found it a bit tricky but we had it removed in an hour. there is a few screws at the top and a few under it, there is also one at the top under the actual wing ( you have to remove arch liner and struggle like chuff lol) message ChrisUK i think he has pics of it! once the bumper is off the rills are a peice of piss to get out

Re: How do you remove the front lower grille?

Does anybody know how to install the lower grille?

I've got a 1.4 5 door Dynamic (06 reg). Not sure if the models have any differences.

Last week we noticed the lower grille was not there (not sure if nicked by kids or if it fell out). I have bought a replacement online but spent ages trying to work out how to install it. Haven't a clue. I suppose if all fails I shall have to go to a Fiat dealer and get it sorted. Until then, any tips?

How did you not notice it was missing lol, surely it mustve been rather obvious
N isnt it just simply a case of pushing it back in??

Re: How do you remove the front lower grille?

Well, I'm not saying I didn't notice it. As you say, pretty hard to miss so we reckon it came out on the way home and noticed it the next day or it got nicked overnight.

It's too big to push in from the front, the part I bought was this one:

Re: How do you remove the front lower grille?

LOL, no it definitely seems bigger. Mind you I was in a bit of a hurry so I'll try again tonight. Otherwise, I must have the wrong part.

Does anyone 100% know if it's just a case of pushing it in from the front?

Re: How do you remove the front lower grille?

Nope, just tried again. The part looks wrong (its the one in the link I posted above - would be grateful if anyone could confirm this).

I've taken a few pics also (yes my car is filthy at the moment).

Hope someone can help!

Re: How do you remove the front lower grille?

er... that grill doesnt look like its gonna go back on without taking the front bumper off, coz there is a clip hole on the side of it, stopping it from going in from the front of the bumper!!

but on the other hand, theres a lip on the bumper where its meant to sit, obviously meaning its meant to go on from the front, so i guess its mission impossible!!
