Talking K&N Induction kit fitted today

Just fit my K&N induction kit to the GP, nice piece of kit, would put up pics but don't know how

got it for £57, probably not as good as GSR but i've used K&N's a few times before and they have been ok with me will try get pics up

you're right not as good as GSR but some people have tight budgets

get pics up im interested to see what the setup is like.

you realise that that could air feed will do nothing and you will still suck loads of hot air in and it will take away power?

ya silly way K&N have designed it with the massive mushy straight to the inlet, will see how it goes and if poo will replace

I wouldn't call that designed. This is a blooming cheek of them and was just thrown together.

Now I know wht they mean when they claim to improve the torque. They got the direction wrong.

still gives off a nice rip, tis only a 1.4 8v, will do me just now till i get enough pennies to head down your way and you can set me up

I had the exact same one on my old punto MkII 1.2 8v.

It sounded ok, but lost a lot at the top end, then the dam thing split and fell off. I must have drove 10miles before I knew it was gone.

I would never get another K&N kit like this ever again, total rubish.

But you could of just saved the £57 and had the money alot faster for a GSR. Now you have to start at 0 again

Got given one so i tried it out, pretty loud and only 1.4 8v aswell so not exactly the quickest to start with.

Type R civic soon anyways so meh

what about if you got another cold air feed from say halfords coming from the other direction would that make any difference
