Re: Had a GSR Induction fitted today.....

I wanted to go with Quinn Direct but they wanted silly money, also they are great with visual mods but you still pay a premium for performance enhancing parts.
I find Elephant are good for insurance and mods.

Re: Had a GSR Induction fitted today.....

From the picture the air filter looks as if it will get soaked by spray and drawn into the intake (then again water wont run up hill) that area on my 1.2 is always soaked after a drive in the rain...

Hopefully the filter is thick enough not to allow the water in. The standard air intake doesn't take up water and the induction kit is in a similar place if a little lower, so im sure it would be fine. I definitely want one and I'd get the remap with it for added omph!

Yes, if you drive sensibly you should see more miles to the gallon, if you hammer it everywhere you will see less miles to the gallon.

Depends if fuel economy bothers you.

Depends which clio cup you mean? A 172 cup will beat a remapped 1.9 and a 197 cup won't be any faster than a 1.9 with a remap and induction

Because you aren't driving through rivers and lakes.
