i got a sporting in orange in 2006, got the windows and roof tinted, im puttin some black wheels on it an a thought the black rear lights wud go better with the black n orange exterior theme. sometimes i think they look good other times im not so sure. they look good at night when theyre lit up tho. i jst wanted to make it a little different without going ovr board or plastering it in stickers and £2.50 stick on badges. ha ha.

When you say the 'roof tinted' do you mean you had it wrapped in black?

I got quoted 200 quid for a black roof. How much did you pay?

no, its the "sky dome" (glass roof) that came with the car. inside its like two large sun roofs (but only the front one opens!!) it looks like the roof is highly polished and black. its lightly tinted as standard but i wanted it darker from the inside. it was spposed to be £1000 pound extra (ludicrous for a posh sunroof, eh?) along with the leather interior (black with white piping) £1000, arm rest, built in sub woofer and couple of other bits and bobs, but i got it all thrown in for nowt. saved £3,500 in total. they wanted £14,000 for it, so im pretty sure it was the most expensive fiat punto in history.

The Skydome is £550 and the leather is £600 odd quid where have you got 1k for each of them? :S

its what i was told in the dealership when i bought it unless the prices have dropped or i misheard him.
this is how he broke it down to me (plz bear in mind it was 19 mnths ago)
price = 14000
sky dome - 1000
leather - 1000
pre registerd -1500
sale price = 10500
was the arm rest, sub, bluetooth and windows hard drive all standard back then or could that have accounted for sum of it?

Price's have always been what i stated as far as i am aware.

And why did you have to pay £1500 for a pre reg? Pre reg should be cheaper not more expensive

no, it was the difference between the sign on the car and what went from my bank account.

I think he means is that what he told you the value of the extras were. IE £1000 for the sky dome when its £550

hangon guys youve lost me now. i feel im under some sort of scrutiny here.
i said " i like the orange one" salesman (sm) "yes that has £2000 exras on it - roof and seats" isaid " i ll wait till you can get me a standard one" sm " wait if you sign for it today you can have the extras at no extra cost and youll save a furhter £1500 because its pre reg, so you will pay £10500"
has that cleared it up at all?
