Re: Footwell Lights

Wire the lights up to a cig lighter, then plug it in, you can even get one with a switch. If you've already got ur cig lighter in use, just fit an extension, or another one, my car has 8 hidden cig lighters now

Re: Footwell Lights

Yep, and like with every modifcation on my car, the insurance company know - they even know I changed the colour of the stitching on the steering wheel ffs.

Each one is individually fused, and independantly powered. The risk of a fire is no more than your standard cig lighter. You can buy 4 way adapters for cars they're no more dangerous than a standard cig lighter.

Non of the cig lighter sockets are on when the car is switched off so there is no risk there.

Try being a bit more constructive

It's not too bad actually, At 17 and standard it was costing me £1200, then I added mods and it went up to £2000, now at 18 and modified it costs me £900 p/a (It's not what you know, but who you know )

Re: Footwell Lights

I went through our company's broker, he got me the best deal with a highly recognised UK Insurer. I never say who I'm with, and have been called all the names under the sun for not doing so, sorry.

I would reccomend going to a broker though, our one does everything from finance to insurance

Tom

Re: Footwell Lights

Its so bent not saying who your insured with.

I think its performance direct that are quite good. My mates just gone from a 1.25 Fiesta with alloys, lowered and tinted windows to a Clio Sport (2.0litre) and his insurance is cheaper.
