Re: Exhaaaaaust! Brooooom Brooooom =D

I paid around £1000 for the supersprint system for my mk2 around 12 months ago.

That is including the manifold and a sports cat though which make up the majority of the cost (£600 for the sports cat and £250 for the manifold IIRC)

For a cat back system, you are talking around £250 for a supersprint. Compare that to the £200 for the powerflow and its not bad value at all!

But I cant find anywhere in the UK that sells supersprints for the grande yet!

Re: Exhaaaaaust! Brooooom Brooooom =D

All this talk about supersprint though, to be honest on a 1.2 car -- would you really?

I'd rather have my car looking and sounding the way I want it.. which is how I have it now and spend money going for a high quality exhaust on something that is worth it.

I'll probably keep this car until the warranty runs out then get something with alot more grunt -- then it'll be time to shell out money for a performance exhaust.

£1000 for an exhaust on a car which value now resides around the £4.5 grand mark is silly imo.

doesn't mean there's something wrong...they could have fitted the wrong backbox or cat which could be quietening it down...powerflow are normally loud though so i'd just go ask your local to get it up on the ramps and check to see its actually a powerflow...
there's nothing wrong though, if there was it'd be really loud
