Re: tuning shops in birmingham

Just Google it and have a look round, though tbh if you want qulity there is Red Dot, i know its a fair old drive from Brum but they get great recomendations from Peeps on here. Another choice is to find a car modding shop and ask them A) if they do them or B) if they know a shop that does, im sure you could find one that way

Re: tuning shops in birmingham

ok im going to hand my self out to dry here. I know a lot on this forum hate them but.......
Angel tuning are close to brum. Leamington to be exact. apparently you dont get as much for your money as with red dot but you will get a remap. Please dont take what i said as a start to an argument!!!!!!!!!! I was just responding to the question! I know this is a sensitive subject.

Re: tuning shops in birmingham

Its worth the trip down to watford to red dot mate, Ive done it a few times now!
Think Red Dot & GSR are cheaper than the competition on the rolling road days that are organised every month or so.
Plus meeting Oldschool is priceless!

Re: tuning shops in birmingham

I have to agree with Thewitt, it may be a long trip to watford, and as i come from the same area as you id still go down to watford simply because red dot get so much good comments from people here, its where im gonna get mine mapped wen i get the time/money

im considering doing this too, red dot is over 100 miles from me though and AT is only 10 so i dunno if i can be botherd. I hear that with AT you get arounf 150-160 and with red dot/gsr u get 180ish depending on the car. So the choice is travel further to get more bang for your buck? Or be lazy. Im thinking i might go for the red dot option. Maybe at the RR day this week.

Again not meant to be starting an argument, just weighing up the local/non-local options.

An engine is today a much more advanced unit than only a couple of years ago. The power to capacity ratio is quite high in these days compared to about ten years ago. This is possible due to extensive research and detailed work.

Considering these points and the fact that production tolerances weigh in much more heavily would you really like to go with a door to door service without the possibility to meter the changes? Whatever people might want to think regarding the rolling road (most of them don't know what they are talkingt about) and the other metering equipment I prefer to be able to read from these than trusting the one medicine fit all cases approach.

Doubt that they can do the GP 1.2.
