If it doesn't affect performance, then yup.

My premium goes up £30 a year if its a full system, not bad for a 17 year old! (Well, I'm 18 now!)

Re: Cupra R 'Kris' Splitter fitted!

How did you go qbout it? line it up in the middle, screw it on

then work round the sides or did you cut it all first?

Re: Cupra R 'Kris' Splitter fitted!

I, myself, cut the edges because it was far too long. (I made it a bit too short, so just watch that, put it up against the car and estimate what you need to cut off and then cut off LESS than you think you need too)

Then dad did the rest.

Set of self tappers. 3 on each side.

Screw two middle ones in first, I made sure it was even whilst he fixed it in

Then it was a case of bending the splitter around the car (remember to knick a v shape in the back of both sides so you can bend it easier)

He then made small pilot holes in the bumper where we wanted to screw it in. alot of trial and error and bending and sending me back to look and see if it was okay. Then we gritted our teeth and screwed it in.

Easy, eh?

Quinn Direct for the EPIC win, in my opinion.

They were the only company who would quote below £1500! (£1100) when I was 17, and the other £1500+ companies allowed no mods.

Definately the best for under 21's!

Self tapping screws just, thats what the are. You can pick them up anywhere, they will say 'self-tapping' on the front.

By the way my name's Phil, 'Kris' I'm giving the credit for the idea to him because he was the first car I seen with it done.

You're making 'retard' jokes, yet if you would have looked at the thread properly you would have seen this question is already answered further up.

This man speaks the truth. I had no idea! But when I saw yours I just had to have it! For £20 it's an awesome mod. The Linea Splitter is £240 to buy on flebay!
