New Grill

Im looking for a grill to replace my stock one on my GP, just the upper one and not the Linea Grill, and ive got a few questions;

I found this grill on the forum
http://www.everycarpart.co.uk/fiat-p...e-p-55169.html
It looks like it does'nt have a space for a badge and i was just wondering if anyone had bought it and if so does it have a spot for a badge as i want a badgless grill.
Another possible choice is the Merkur grill
http://www.absmotorsport.net/merkur-...6347e9484d26f5
But thats a bit pricy TBH
Also would i have to declare to my insurance if i did replace it, particualrly with the replacement grill??
Thanks for reading my Essay lol

Re: New Grill

That top one is the lower grill not the upper. I would go for a murker tbh im not gonna declare it when i get mine and put it on. If im in a front ender its going to get wrecked anyway so would just be replaced with standard.

Re: New Grill

Damn youre right it is
I was going to go for the Merkur one but £80 is a lot to pay for just an upper grill, i may just wait till my insurance drops and then get the Linea one

re linea race grill you do not have to have badge on. kit comes with a piece you put behind if you want badge

Re: New Grill

£160+ for the grill and then some bit of plastic? You might as well buy the murker grill. Work it out on size and if you split the linea in half you are basically only getting the top grill for £80.

Spose but i like the linea grill cos its got that bit of plastic, even though it is jst a bit of plastic.
And nah i dont think that abath one will, simply cos the badge sticks out above + below the grill and the regular one doesnt

Re: New Grill

Did it myself in a day.
I just cutted the centre pieces, had it painted, bought a big piece of black (i don't know how you call it) 'thing' and i used silicone to put it together.
It is steady as the original one.I like it so much that i will now paint it in white for my new GPS.
Just take your time and it will be fine.At the end of the day you will be proud for yourself!
