Ok, now i know a lot of youy will say this is a stupid thing to do myself, but i really cant afford to get it done professionall;y due to repairing the car.

How hard will it be to spray my alloys white? Also, do you all think that they wiull look good being white on my car? (car is Orleans Blue so it should look good)

Re: Alloy Spraying

If you have the time, I think it can be done
Just be sure to give them a good key, clean them very well before spraying and don't forget to apply some laquer after the paint!
If you don't rush, it will look great!

Re: Alloy Spraying

I wouldn't if i was you, its not a 10 minute job, i'd just save up and have them done professionally, if the wheels look crap on a car then the whole car looks crap. A wheel refurb company by me only charge 25 pound a wheel, that is to shotblast them, re-furb if needed and painted to what ever colour you choice. Bargain

Re: Alloy Spraying

It's not that expensive at all to get it done pro, bearing in mind if you do it yourself the cost of lacquer, paint, sandpaper, filler (if needed). Then if you mess it up it's gotta be done again.

Add to that the inconvenience of having no car for a while, just get it done properly.

White details on blue cars looks the dogs. I'm not a huge fan of the stripes kit, if i wre you, do what im gonna do an nip to your local sign man and get some custom stripes made, it will be cheaper thanthe stripes kit, and you will be unique

What alloys have you got on it now?

Mark

Keep looking, a place near me will do 17s for £40 per wheel. That includes refurb, powder coated any colour, and tyre removal/refitting. They do an excellent job aswell.
