Re: t-jet tuning

Yes GSR / RedDot can remap it but its still in testing for the Induction I believe. 'Oldschool' or 'PNL' will be able to advise you on the specifics.

FMIC's are quite a universal thing and can be done yourself if your quite savvy .

Supersprint should have the system out soon for the T-jets. Patience is a virtue unfortunately

Re: t-jet tuning

I think the T-jet GSR inductions come out this weekend. Supersprint for the M-jet is out very shortly but I'm not sure about the T-jet, I imagine it won't be that long.

Thought it would be a matter of time before someone said that . Just wait till the Abarth comes out with 155bhp from the factory! . M-jet eatter ftw (except for maybe Pk's if what he has planned works ).

Knew you would get wound up Chris lol!

Abarth wont represent such good value for money as the Mjet does tho.

Whats the Abarth price 15k - 16k? Almost twice what my MJet (and probably your TJet) too. No? Oh right the TJet is newer so cost more, so the Abarth is better value for you!

Why do you know I would get wound up?. Im not lol. When I had a GP Sporting it was the 1.9 Mjet . I seriously doubt the basic Abarth will be 15k... Can get one new LHD for £12k right now .

Seriously contemplating getting one I'm in love with it . Just wish they'd stick a top of the line JTDm Lump in there . The 150 16v Mjet would be lovely .

Re: t-jet tuning

I can't wait until we see tjets beating abarths.

I reckon:

-GSR Induction
-Full supersprint manifold back
-FMIC
-All incorporated into a map

Then I think we'd be seeing 155bhp+ from the t-jet.

I'm the kind of person who quite likes understated cars, underdogs etc.
Mincing an abarth in a T-jet or an M-jet would be brilliant.

BUT the abarth has the attention factor, and i'm a bit of a seat whore and I love the seats in the abarth.

Just joshin ya buddy. the 16v JTD is lighter isnt it? Sounds like a good move for us punters but would FIAT consider it? I think the 8v JTD's weight is probably the 1.9's biggest drawback but it still makes me every time I drive it even in standard 130 brake map mode. Been trawling the used GPS sites but finding it quite difficult to find many 1.9's up for sale. Saw a nice chemical grey one with leather and 6k miles up for £9.6k on a 57 plate. Looking forward to March 09 when wifey gets rid of her 1.2 Stlo and takes over my GPS so I can have another!

Re: t-jet tuning

I found a used GPS 1.9 with 17k on for £7900 had the skydome too . Yes I think the 16v Mjet is a bit lighter and definatly puts out more power and is more tunable someone on Alfaowner has one with 250bhp+ . Imagine that in a GPS .

We ewill see this weekend.

About the attention factor: We can get allthe bits that make it look like an Abarth but faster.
