(S) exhaust for a 1.2 8v gp

Hi,

What is the best exhaust for a 1.2 8v gp either a whole system of just a back box also where can i get one from.

Most people recommended Supersprint, but it depends on your budget as they are a little expensive

where abouts do you live? i can recommend exhaustsuk.com they are in sheffield. they make custom exhausts. i got a backbox for my active and it cost me £125 with a 25year guarantee!

exhaustuk.com are pretty much the same as powerflow, there are many powerflows dotted up and down the country, some people rate them some people don't, personnal choice.

Powerflow are crap. Mines 2 years old and I can't stop it blowing.

I think it depends on which garage you take it too, as one of mates took his to stafford and he said they did a **** job, but another few of my mates have had theres done at Telford and there's are fine.

Powerflow are a franchise so it all depends on the fitter. As far as gains go I can't think of anybody who has said they have seen performance gains from a powerflow exhaust.

iirc the stafford powerflow dealers son used to be on the puntouk forum. His user name name was Yamyzer and I had an abarth rear bumper from him. (Back in my mk2 days.) I remember fitting it on stafford technology park with him!

i don't think people get them for the gains though most people get them for the styling or the stupidly loud noise.

I had my system from powerflow in Stoke, that was 12 months ago and its sound. Looks good and the fitter did a good job !. Depends on personnel choice as other people have said.

The dealer is in Leek, a place called silversystems. The exhausts are only fitted by one bloke and he was recommended to me by one of my mates!
