(S) Where can I get my mirrors and handles painted?

Just any paint garage place? you know how much it will cost? if anyone has had it done?

make sure its a good one though

try a few local places around you and select the ones that you think are best

ye just look around spray shops they will cost a bit though but trust me it looks smashing!

probly about £100-150 ish i would of thought i wouldent say any more!

The thing is they will charge more the more buisniss they have, cos they have to take time out to do it but if you find a spray place that hasent got alot going on it will be cheaper.

You will need to remove and dismantle the handles to paint them properly and then refit the handles to the car so when they are painted and dry so you will be without it for a couple of days. I would be tempted to find out if ready-painted ones are available as spares from Fiat, could be cheaper and less hassle than getting the originals painted. I think the coloured part of the mirror is just a removeable "shell" which might also be available as a spare part.

T might know....or the guy from "Stoneacre Fiat parts" who comes in now and then.

what colour are you painting them?

that colour. I will phone fiat up tomorrow and ask if they have the handles as spars in the colour. cheers for your help

normally parts are supplied primered to be painted.

Have you thought about doing it yourself? You can get a perfect shade match from Halfords if you give them the paint code.They will mix it up and put it in a pressurised container. Then carefuly mask the body and away you go. But only try this if you are handy with the old spray tins.
I`m going to do the handles on mine as soon as I can get down to it.

Have to say, this is not a good idea in my opinion...im all for being a wee bit thrifty with the pennies, but this is something worth spending money on.

lol yes if you own a 10 year old corsa but not on a brand new GP. if you want it to look good then get it done at a paint shop.

lol yeah thats major but somethin like your mirrors isn't too bad, just wip them off and do them in the garage in a day.
