Re: Advice on how best to style my Grande Punto Active 1.2

I know exactly what your on about with it being difficult to do on a budget.

Thats why im constantly posting these so that i can get help with cheaper parts and stuff!!

I wouldnt lower the car until very last as you said its less noticeable as the rest!

Im thinking that what im best to do now is to order the Rear Spoiler and Side Skirts and to then get them all painted along with my handles and wing mirrors and as you said get a bulk discount or something and get it all done in one.

Secondly then once i have gotten the money i shall buy some 1.9 Sporting Alloys (maybe before if there is an amazing deal on ebay or if somebody on here is offering them dirt cheap!)

(QUOTE)

Vinyl on the door pillars and by the little window (on the Sporting its glossy and on yours its matt)

I dont quite understand what you mean about this??? But as you said its cheap to change so thats a good thing!

I reckon i can get the car up to scratch (door handles and mirrors painted, rear spoiler and side skirts painted also and sports alloy wheels for around £600) Thats only if im good with the money and get some deals!

I could get it all done a.s.a.p but iv got ****loads to pay out for in the next month as i moving house so i need to keep the money so as to put it into the house and i think that would be a better place to put the money rather than side skirts and spoiler at the moment. Thats why im trying to get things as cheap as possible so i can do it whilste paying out money for my new house!

One more thing - Does anyone know where i can get some genuine Grande Punto Floor mats for my car cheap?? As they are going on Ebay for around £30-£35 with £10 postage!!

Really appreciate the advice and help guys!!

Keep it coming!!

Cheers Liam

P.S - If anyone can find anything cheaper like rear spoiler, side skirts and 1.9 Sporting alloys wheels then dont hesitate to let me know!

Also if anyone has any of the things im looking for then let me know also about the price you want, e.t.c and i shall get back to you a.s.a.p!

I negotiated with my local dealer. I told him i could get them on eBay for £31.75 (neglected to mention the postage, ) and he matched it. Try your luck.

it is the same it is shiny in all sporting models but is not just a vinly it is painted but to get it the same it would have to be vinlyed or could be primered and painted glossy black.

Re: Advice on how best to style my Grande Punto Active 1.2

cheers for the little things that im missing!

Just still trying to get the money together to get the first few things! Im gonna call around a few places to see how much it will cost to spray a rear spoiler, side skirts, wing mirrors and door handles.

Has anybody found any of the parts im after any cheaper?

Does anybody have anything that i am after that they are wanting to sell or get rid off, then please let me know!

Cheers for the help and advice again!

Keep it coming thick and fast!

Thanx Liam

Re: Advice on how best to style my Grande Punto Active 1.2

i forgot to ask - Are these things easy to fit and take off? Could i take the door handles off and wing mirrors? Is it easy to put a rear spoiler on and side skirts or would i be best to get the person who is spraying them to put them on???

Re: Advice on how best to style my Grande Punto Active 1.2

remember, when you get your parts they will not be painted, you will have to budget for that as well, just a thought. For example I was charged £120 for painting and fitting my novitec valance.
