The tiny little window at the front side

Another little jobby i've done today.

I wasn't too sre whether to go ahead and do this or not at first but hey, it's come up quite nicely.

I've used black vinyl to black them out (limo glass style). I'll get some real pics taken 2moz after I have my new brakes fitted.

but for now, here's a photoshoped version. - Looks much better in real life, just gives you an idea.

Your opinions welcome as always.

Tar,
Tom

EDIT: lol forgot to edit the shadow, darn...

yes it is, but they have to let about 70% of day light through, so in theory illegal.

Tom, why would you want to do that mate?

Re: The tiny little window at the front side

To be honest, I'm not sure, I just had loads of black vinyl left and needed somewhere to put it lol.

You can't really tell they used to be windows now, so I don't think there's any legal reason as to why not, famous last words .

I'm not a fan of tinting windows usually but that looks really good very subtle

Re: The tiny little window at the front side

Its certainly an interesting idea. Not my sort of thing personally but its those sorts of ideas that get you noticed.

I cant see it raising any legal issues myself because most cars dont even have them and they are near impossible to see out of in the first place.

Like you have already mentioned i doubt most people will even know that they were windows initially.

Re: The tiny little window at the front side

it will make your blind spot a lot bigger uneccessarily and I hope you don't hit anything because you can't see it,I'm thinking of small children, bollards, cyclists etc.its personal choice but I prefer to see as much as possible which is why they are there in the ist place.

Re: The tiny little window at the front side

I do agree, but most cars have the wing mirror where that window is, and I can't see out of either of them anyway, they're tiny and tucked away.
