Re: colours

The bright orange is called Caribbean Orange and as far as im aware is only available on the Sportings, either the 1.4 16v or the 1.9 Multijet.

Im very surprised that there arent any in your local dealership, normally there is at least one floating around. Definately not a limited edition or anything like that though.

Hope this helps.

Rich

Yeah thats right, like the red for example, that is also known as "special". Not a clue what they mean by that, its probably just so they can charge more for touch up sticks, etc, lol.

charge more for the paint itself too. i think it costs more than a standard colour. no idea what the standard colors are. maybe white and...?

Re: colours

As far as I can tell, the only colour you don't pay any extra for is white. I've actually not seen many white GPs, apart from one in someone's avatar on here.

Re: colours

I think the orange looks great as its very eye catching, but I wonder how hard it would be to sell as the colour could be a bit too hip for some.

Re: colours

I was always going to get New Orleans Blue, but when I was in the dealers, I fell in love with Chemical Grey. Like the black too but my current car is black so fancy a change. Also like the red, but my missus car is red so want somethin different. Great colours in general though, don't think there's any I dislike.

Re: colours

Yeah the only colour you dont pay extra for is white. It was a bit of a joke really when they used to give the otr price for the Sporting because you had no choice but to pay extra for paint. Cant see them letting you take it with just the primer some how.

the reason you pay extra for the carribean orange and exotica red according to fiat is wait for it "its a special anti fade paint"thats all a load of nonsense.thats the truth
