Re: Heres my car... anymore inexpensive mods?

thought about changing your bulbs? like the orange indicator bulbs to the raindbow ones, xenon style headlight bulbs?

you thought about maybe a nice i.c.e set up?

Re: Heres my car... anymore inexpensive mods?

Its not much of a mod; but how about having a non-slip mat on your dash with a die cast GP (if you can find one) on top?

Re: Heres my car... anymore inexpensive mods?

i have got one and it fits flush looks pretty cool. what ice set up you got mate?

ye they can be white or blue look, personal preference really, what about a new gear knob or handbrake handle? lowering your car? quite expensive but worth the 100-150 quid in my eyes. not sure what else to suggest to you.

Re: Heres my car... anymore inexpensive mods?

GPs are on of the few cars that are design-perfect. Straight out of the box.

You can stick stuff on Corsas and the like because the original shape is pretty ordinary. The GP is a design classic. I suggest no 'improvement' is the best enhancement. Especially when you have the oh-so-smart blue one, which is already the perfect colour.

Re: Heres my car... anymore inexpensive mods?

hiya matey, cars looking good so far!

as said, what about some new bulbs?! they're pretty cheap, and a very effective mod as removing the 'fried egg' look from the front lights is a worthy mod!
before:

after:

also, what about replacing the headlight bulbs for xenon effect ones? all they do is give a whiter, brighter light, so the road is a bit more visable than when you have the standard 'yellow' look bulbs which look awful imo.

depending on how much you have to spend matey, there is an interior lighting kit available (pm me for details)

then you can move onto improving the paintwork... some nice polish/wax/sealant will make it stand out more, make it look great, and look after the paintwork for you as a bonus!!

then you could paint the callipers, i used hammerite, about a fiver from b&q, a couple of coats and bobs your mothers brothers!!!

depends how far you want to go matey, but callipers and changing the front indicator bulbs and headlight bulbs is a worthy cheap mod imo... then you could also replace the read brake lights and tail lights for l.e.d. units too!

new number plates??

so, there is a few mods for you to be getting on with!

Re: Heres my car... anymore inexpensive mods?

oh, btw, the higher the number on the headlight bulb the blue'r it will be...

mine are 6500k... which give a nice white light.

i'm shall be getting some proper xenon bulbs fitted sometime soon.

the bulbs are H4 and the front indicator bulbs are offset pins, and the rears are straight pin. HTH

Re: Heres my car... anymore inexpensive mods?

i think your best mod if definately the light upgrade inside, i looked into it and it is 100 pounds including fitting, which isn't too bad but i have got to do a bit more saving before i purchase it!! btw can the lights all be on whilst your driving and easily be switched off? cheers minnnt
