alloys? yay or nay?

i have my heart set on these bushidos and i think they suit my gp quite well, next week when i go to get them i will put them up against the car to see what they will look like but will make sure they are what i want.

so anyways what you guys think? the first picture is just with alloys, but the second is lowered with a light tint on the rear lights which hopefully it will end up looking like.

Re: alloys? yay or nay?

wheels look bling because of lighting. they are a lovely wheel in person. good choice!

Re: alloys? yay or nay?

I think the colour/texture of the ground is having a dizzying effect with the alloys, but otherwise looks great lowered.

Re: alloys? yay or nay?

thanks for all the comments guys, i personally think that they look good, they do look more bling in the picture than they would in real life, but il post pics once they have finally been fitted hopefully a week today on my birthday!!!!

Re: alloys? yay or nay?

I'd have to say no.. .

I dont think they look right and theyre quite big gaps between the spokes on them, which means with your car being the 1.2 the little front discs and rear drums are gonna be blatently on show.. .

I think a good set of multispokes are the type of wheels that best suit the GP, i did look once when i was bored at wheels and it is very difficult to find a set to suit the car.. .

Re: alloys? yay or nay?

having seen a few lower models ie.actives, sports with after market wheels put on. i honestly think the gp only suits multispoke alloys the car has no angled parts to its design so the wheels you show in the pic are angular and very focus st.i will be puting 18"s on my car when i get it back from the bodyshop......??????.stick to the classic design not contempoary.just my opinion though

Re: alloys? yay or nay?

As someone has quite rightly already said when it comes to stuff like this its all personal preference. When i wanted to paint my wheels loads of people said not to do it, i did it anyway, and now those people have changed their minds. If you like them then go for it. They are very much Focus ST and in my opinion the cars arent a million miles from each other.
