What!!?!

just phoned the local tinting company,

for 5 windows tinting


£225.


how easy is it to do?

fancy doing it but not paying £225 for it

i kno i had same problem, so i bought some film for my rear windows, and looks good, just apply lots of hot soapy water and a card to get rid of bubbles!

inside mate, youl need two people and quite a bit of time, and you will mess up the first window but is easy to peel off!

Got a call back from the same company: RPB Tinting in bedford.


since i only wanted the rears doing there gonna give me a "special, one off" price of £150.

which i think is really good, ive seen their work in the flesh and its

if the xbox finally sells the tints will get done "hint hint"

theres a place in romford that does it, proper pro job, for £25 a window i think it is, i dont know how far you are from there though.

strangely im there all the time

i have relatives who live about five minutes from the brewery.

my car wont be able to get there until after i pass my test though: june/july

im up there the day before autoitalia though so i might go up there and give a nosy. my uncle wants his golf tinting anyway

while im here with this bland thread i might aswell ask how easy it it to fit a universal backbox to a GP?

going to have a ganders underneath now to check lengths etc.

please dont fit a universal backbox, there normally all so ****e especially rage etc they sound ****e too, and there probably quite hard to fit too, buy one made for your car and a cat back too, not just backbox

I would get professionals to tint it if you're not sure/comfortable with it. If you somehow stuff it up you have no one but yourself to blame. Imagine your lovely GP with tint bubbles all over it..

Speaking of which I should tint mine as well..

Isn't these days done by a electroplating process? didn't think they used rolls of tinted paper anymore.
