Re: Smoothed boot pictures.....

james, something I've seen on ebay Germany would really suit your car, someone is selling chromed door handle caps and inserts and mirror caps, would suit grey or silver GP,but not my red one,may be worth a look to see what you think, would match your wheels, john

Re: Smoothed boot pictures.....

took me five minutes, heat the lettering up with a hair dryer for 30 seconds and slide some fishing line behind the letter and pull the line across the letter and it will come off, and then just remove the adhesive with your hands and give it a good clean at the end. i was thinking about abarth badges for the front and back as well, how much are they? would you say to get black ones?

Re: Smoothed boot pictures.....

I too thought it would like better without, mines a 120 crossover black. I poured a little hot water down the back of the letters, they slid off without the need for hairdryers, dental floss or anything else. Just gave it a quick wax all over and you would never know there was anything missing.

I have the abarth badges front, back and steering wheel, they were from
www.abarthbadges.com

You can also get from ebay, but just seem to be the same as from the company above but more risk getting invloved in ebay and seem to be about the same price level.

You also get small badges for the alloy wheel centres but decided to leave these off. You'll see why if you get them as part of the set as I did.

Lol, this would be true but its the same guy selling them, (I bought both from him and www.abarthbadges.co.uk)

I myself have put the badges on the front, wheels, steering wheel, and boot. (Pictures posted in the members motors part)

Anywho back to the original post, looks far better without the badge, first thing i took off... no wait only thing...

Tom

The heat doesn't damage the paint I assume?
