(S) induction kit and exhaust help...

i see johnlumnis is selling his sporting exhaust on ebay, would this fit the 1.2 active? and does it make a difference in the sound of the exhaust?

also i am thinking of getting the K&N induction kit or maybe a custom one, but if i remove the air box does it invalidate my warrenty??

Hi James,I was asked this question by someone on ebay,the only difference may be the size of the pipe from the manifold to the rear box,I have various adapters,I another one I found in addition to the ones shown in the pics,they should be enough but I can't say for definate because I've not seen a 1.2 underneath,it may be as well that a small piece of the rear skirt may have to be cut to accomodate the tail pipe,I hope this helps ,john

i bought that exhaust off john & i have 1.2 dynamic. Is there any difference in the back box, as john's came off a diesel & mine is petrol. could this cause problems with my car ?

should have asked these questions before bidding!
hope somebody can help

i've seen some K&N ones around and wondered if they sounds good or could be recommended by anyone?

avin put my novitec one on,i asked before i did it and only rthe exhaust is not covered by waranty,obviously cos its not fiat

sound the same Mike,if not quieter,didn't do it for the noise,I've always wanted a car that smoked from both sides,now it does ( only water vapour on a really cold day I might add)

What do diesels actually sound like with modified exhausts on them? Since I've never owned one I wouldn't think you'd actually want to make it louder due to their "Unique" sound.

heard a VW transporter with a twin DTM, made hardly any difference tbh, dont really think its worth it on a diesel

with the warranty thing it will only be affected on the actual airbox itself i have already check it with my dealer and they say just that
so no worries
