MY07 Dashboard Photos etc

I know some of you have been wondering what the new dials look like, well I've got a courtesy car today whilst my steering rack is being changed, so I though it would be rude if I didnt take a few snaps for the curious ones amongst you.

Its a 1.2 Dynamic, and I was quite surprised at how well it performs. It loves to rev, and is a lot more nippy than I was expecting. The 5 speed gearbox however is quite horrid compared to the 6 speed, and it feels like you are stirring a bag of nuts and bolts

Considering it only has 300 miles on the clock, a really annoying rattle has already started from the steering wheel area, and I was hoping that the MY07 changes may have actually changed the glovebox, so that a) it fits properly, and b) its big enough to put the blooming manual in! Not so.......

That said, I hope this is actually an MY07, its an 07 plate, so I presume it is.............

Re: MY07 Dashboard Photos etc

Looks virtually the same as a MY06. What are they trying to do with the dials - the retro look? Not my cup of tea

Thats why I'm wondering whether this is actually a MY07........ It may just be an MY06 registered on an 07 plate.......

The seats are definately different to my Dynamic though(if only slightly), and so is the dash cluster.

Re: MY07 Dashboard Photos etc

I think the changes in the gauges are good. Where is the redline though?

Not so sure about the changes in the seat trim though.

I don't remember this being mentioned in the manual, but I'm too lazy to go downstairs and check But like most cars once its past around the 6k rpm mark that's where its going red..

Re: MY07 Dashboard Photos etc

You'll know soon enough when you are bouncing off the rev limiter.
