Thats what I meant, it is easy enough as all you need to do is splice the cable and wire the baby's up! Now that I've finished exams, oh yer!, its my next project. Just need to find two 12inch blue LED neons!

Re: Interior footwell lights

Hi. I want to put LED footwell lights in but I want them to come on with the exterior/sidelights? Does anyone know if any of the external wiring looms run into the car interior? I need to to pick up a wire that goes live when the light stalk is switched on.
Cheers!!

Re: Interior footwell lights

Does anyone know if there is an easier way to connect the footwell lights? Is the a way to track where the Interior light goes to and take your 12V from there?

Re: Interior footwell lights

ok ive checked with my dad (an electrician who has done some of this sort of thing in the past) and found out leds are best.

how thick is the cable you used? im expecting it would be reatively fine as its only low voltage

Done this with my Mk2. Also put them under the front and back of the seats, banged a small rocker switch into the ash tray and voila!

Anyone and everyone should do this for a quick mod, looks awesome and impresses the mates!
