| Re: Changing the front speakers walkthrough (With Pics) With the assistance of Captain Chaos I have now replaced my front speakers, including tweeters with an Infinity Kappa component set with passive crossover ![]() The crossover fits snugly (and with no rattles) into the cavity behind the handle used to close the door Also if you do decide to pop-rivet the speaker two or three pop-rivets will suffice and give a very solid fit - as you can see in the picture I didn't pop-rivet the top but the other three held the speaker so tightly I couldn't move the top of the speaker at all.

| Re: Changing the front speakers walkthrough (With Pics) For information - the Infinity tweeters I fitted had a slightly larger diameter than the factory ones so they wouldn't slot all the way in. To get round this Captain Chaos kindly hot-glue-gunned the tweeters as far into place as possible - a simple but effective work around

I will say tho not to go too big, as you will hit the glass of the window when they are open!

I had them in my previous car, using an aftermarket headunit. They dont sound as good with the GP headunit as it cannot provide enough power. Amped up they would sound pretty damn good, excellent bass also.

| Re: Changing the front speakers walkthrough (With Pics) one thing that could have made this perfect - colours for the speaker wires - took a bit of research
