Smile Camping

Hello All;

Has there ever been or is there a yearly camping meet / weekend?

I have never been camping before but would love to give it a go?

How about this as a idea for a weekender - I'm probably treading on someone's toes here. But it'd be cheap & fun (like me )

What do we think?

Thanks

Re: Camping

Donny 2005 we camped at Easter and it was berluddy FREEZING, it snowed and had frozen to ice by the morning, along with our extremeties Safer to save it for the summer methinks (not that we had much luck with that either, trudging round the lakes in the rain). I would go again though

There is no way i can go camping in the cold! I have a pro-lasped disc in my spine, so i can just about cope with it in the summer!!

Re: Camping

Camping? Oh, Danny la Rue, Julian Clary, Elton John, Boy George....oh wait....

I am the ultimately die hard camper, me. Rain or shine, snow, gales, you name it I will go out in it, and I tend to avoid those poxy campsites with all the mod cons like food, toilets, showers, etc. If you go camping it has to be done properly. Wild camping is the only way forward! In fact, I am grabbing my tent and bag now and am off! Fog or no bleeding fog!

By the way, whenever the next camping meet is then I will be there - unless Charlotte is brave enough to suggest one sooner?
