I was woundering if there is a place in the nottingham area where everyone gets together?
If not I was wondering if anyone would like to start with me, I'm from a place called worksop, so if you are interested please do let me know :) , I think it would be great for use to get together show our cars off and have a good old chat :)

Just make sure that it avoids this, please...! (Once we have a fixed date, of course!) :cool:

I think a Nottingham meet is a really good idea, by the way... -- especially if we can find somewhere to eat, and then convoy to... -- as it's so near the motorway network: and should therefore attract a few far-flung FIAT fanatics...! (y)

PS: Just read this back, and realized that it sounds a bit 'schoolmaster-ish'. Sorry for that. More than happy to step back, and let you (both?) organize something... -- but please feel free to yell if you need any help/support...! :slayer:

It's absolutely filthy.... :cry:

It's been sat outside, for the last three weeks (whilst I've been lying on my death-bed...), gathering dust from the gritters, and goodness-knows-what from the local farmers: and looks like it's been coated in an even layer of mud.... :eek:

Good news is: it started on the first turn of the key, this afternoon; and will be getting the full wash-and-wax treatment in the next week or so... -- once I've shaken off this awful bug.... However, I am a lot, lot better than I was... -- so thank you for asking...! (y)

Good luck with getting the door sorted...! I've got to put new check-straps on both of my fronts (as well as a new seal on the driver's side...) -- and am not looking forward to it one bit.... :mad:

Aha should of seen my car after coming from Matlock Bath going up in the high grounds where all the snow was......came home it look like she'd be rolled in a mud bath :devil:

Cleaned her the other day, days later blummin dirty again! :mad: I can't win!!! :(

Ah sorry to hear you've been unwell (n) but good to know your on the mend though!

And cheers I'm going to need it after fixing my annoying overheating issue, it's going to be one massive ballache i can feel it :cry:

Show case cark park sounds a good idea, and regards to the dates I will work something out or if anyone has any ideas just pop in a reply, but either a Sunday or Monday is the best for me because I work nights from Tuesday to Saturday

Sunday was a popular choice for the first meet-up; and, with the clocks having gone forward, lunch, followed by a drive to somewhere scenic, for photos, should also work.... Thanks for doing this -- much appreciated...! (y)

I'm thinking sometime may, and how far do you think the convoy should go? Could always convoy to Matlock for fish and chips lmao

if it's May, probably best to make it the middle of the month: as it looks like the Prodrive meet might be the first weekend in June (and Modified Nationals is at Peterborough, 24-26 May...); not forgetting that Brooklands is at the beginning of May.... :rolleyes:

As I remember (although it's a long time since I've been...), Matlock's about 20-odd miles away from Nottingham? Probably a bit far for people who've already had to drive a distance to get there... -- although fish and chips sounds very tempting...! Maybe, once a date and meeting point has been set up, we can see how far people are willing to travel for a photo-shoot.... :idea:

PS: benny279 -- how long did it take to get to Draycote, from Coventry (about 15 miles away, I think...)? :confused:
